The Web isn't just work--it's an infinite playground! Really. It's amazing what people come up with. I'm going to be delivering fresh content on cool stuff weekly in this section.

Fresh Additions
First, I'm loathe to even refer you to these, because I don't want any competition, or people otherwise hogging/using up resources I value, but then again, I get about 4 hits a year to this site, so why am I worried?
  • Woot! - A product a day... great deals and screaming monkeys and . . . well, just go, and read the content under the "Woot?" tab. I'm hooked.
  • passwird.com - This guy works hard at finding the best right-this-minute deals online, so you don't have to. He's very creative with combining Dell deals and online coupons, in particular, and might save you several hundred dollars on a laptop, etc.

  • The Kingdom of Loathing - Brilliant. Simple. Clever. Cheap. "An Adventurer is You!" Jick and friends take you on a fantastic Dungeons and Dragons kinda journey of stick figures, booze, and eerie 80's references... Create a player build your Moxie--perhaps we'll meet.
  • blurred entertainment - Old-school friends in New York are yucking it up with the video camera, and I can't help but giggle as the hilarity ensues . . .
  • Smack the Pingu! - Can you score 600?
  • Homestar Runner - Some things just make me laugh, and this is one of them. Quality flash cartoons with loveable characters--a great cure for boredom.
  • Insanity Test - Who cares about your IQ? Can you keep it together?

Classics
  • TV NATION Polls - 17% of college graduates would punch themselves really hard in the face for $50.
  • McSweeny's - My friend Scott directed me to this site a couple of years ago--it consistently makes for good reading.
  • KissThisGuy "The Archive of Misheard Lyrics"... it's nice to know you're not alone, and that even if you're wrong, you're WAY closer to true understanding than some folks ;]
  • Yahoo! Most Popular - Yahoo lists the top news stories and pictures that have been emailed by viewers to others. It's like a window into the collective online consciousness . . . Pop eCulture. (This link is always changing, so if it's broken, I apologize. Here's their far-more-consistent RSS Feed, but now you're left to wonder, what is an RSS Feed?)
  • Awaken.org "Click Different"... Julie's got some really interesting writing in here, and she really will send a postcard! Her work inspired me to go ahead and put up what is now the Words section of my site.
